How can I clear XtraMath data from my computer or device?

When you click "Remember me" on a sign-in page, XtraMath uses your browser's LocalStorage system to save your sign-in information. This is also how our website remembers any classes set up for classroom sign-in.

LocalStorage is optional — it isn't required to use XtraMath. Your account data is stored safely on our servers, so clearing local data will not delete your account or erase your student's progress.

Instructions

The exact steps vary depending on your browser. If these steps don't work for you, search online for "clear local storage" along with your browser name.

• Chrome: Go to the XtraMath sign-in page and press F12. Select Clear Storage in the Application section. Confirm it's clearing data for https://xtramath.org (not another domain), then click Clear site data. Refresh the page to see the changes.
• Firefox: Go to the XtraMath sign-in page and press Shift+F9. Click Local Storage to expand it. Right-click https://xtramath.org in the list and select Delete All. Refresh the page to see the changes.
• Safari: Open the Safari menu and select Preferences. Click the Privacy tab. Below "Remove all website data" (don't click this unless you want to clear data for every site!), click Details. Scroll to find xtramath.org, select it, and click Remove, then Done.
• Edge: Go to the XtraMath sign-in page and press F12. Find the Application section (if hidden, click the three-dot menu, then More tools). Select Clear Storage, confirm it's clearing data for https://xtramath.org, and click Clear site data. Refresh the page to see the changes.
