Program Settings
You can assign or edit learning programs for one or more students in your class anytime.
How it works
When a new student is added, they receive a preset program based on the grade level you selected.
You can fully customize that program later to fit their need from the left panel, under the Program settings option.
Step-by-Step
1. Select students:
Choose one or more students from your class list. Preset skills will appear based on the student’s grade, and you can update them here.

2. Select the program:
Each student’s learning plan is now fully configurable. Program builder includes:
- Operation: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division
- Timer Threshold: Set the time limit for each answer (12s, 6s, 3s, 2s and 1.5s). A shorter threshold helps build fluency, while a longer time gives students more time to think (learn how this impacts practice here).
- Difficulty Level: Beginning, Regular, Expanded (based on matrix size and number of operations)
- Program Length: Adaptive Practice includes quizzes followed by personalized practice, while Placement Quiz checks the student’s current level without additional practice.
You can also open the Suggested Programs page here for recommendations and details.

3. Confirmation Summary: Double-check students and program settings, then save to apply.

What happens if I have a Free plan?
If you have a Free plan, some of the options from Step 2 will not be available — you will see them disabled with the Premium icon, indicating they are Premium-only features.
Also, Operation settings work a little differently on Free accounts:
- The student must follow the full preset program assigned.
- For example: if you choose Multiplication, Addition + Subtraction will be preselected automatically, meaning the program will be composed of these 3 operations, and you won’t be able to choose only one operation — except in the case of Addition, which does allow single-operation selection.

What happens if I have a Parent plan?
If you have a Parent plan (Premium or Free), it currently works in the old way for now, but it will soon be updated to match the Teacher view.
