How can I upgrade to an XtraMath Family License?
Did your child bring home a flyer from school? Don't create a new account. Follow the steps on the flyer instead. This links your account to your child's school account, so both you and the teacher can see their progress.
Using XtraMath at home or homeschooling? Follow these steps:
1. Create your account. Go to the XtraMath Sign-up page. Enter your name, email address, and a password, or sign up with Google. Click Next.
2. Choose Family Account. This account type is for using XtraMath at home, including homeschooling.
3. Accept the terms. Review the Terms of Service, confirm you are 16 or older, and click Sign up.
4. Choose your plan.
- Free: start practicing right away. No credit card needed.
- Family License: unlock custom programs, printable activities, and priority support. Click Choose this plan. Your license includes up to three children.
5. Stay connected. Choose whether to receive helpful emails about your child's progress, program updates, and tips. We never send advertising or sell your personal information.
6. Complete payment (Family License only). You'll go to our secure payment partner, Stripe, to pay with your preferred method. Once payment is complete, your license is active.
7. You're ready to go! Next, add your child and get them practicing.

If you are a school administrator and require a school account, you can choose:
Upgrading an Existing Account
Already using XtraMath for free? You can upgrade to a Family License at any time. Your child keeps all their progress.
- Sign in. Go to the XtraMath sign-in page and sign in.
- Open your dashboard. Go to the license upgrade screen in the top-right corner and click Upgrade License.
- Review your purchase. Your Family License includes up to three children.
- Complete payment. You'll go to our secure payment partner, Stripe, to pay with your preferred method.
- That's it! Your Family License is active right away.
