Activating Awakening is super easy!
If you’re a new user, you’ll see a pop-up with steps to activate it as soon as you log into the platform.
If you already have an XtraMath account (Basic or Premium), you can activate it by clicking your name in the top right corner and selecting the Awakening option.
Once on the Awakening page, you can try the game, read more info by clicking More Info, and review the Terms of Service before activating.
When you’re ready, simply toggle the switch to the right. A confirmation pop-up will appear with a few steps—read and accept the Terms of Service, and you’re all set!
Awakening will now be activated for your account and all your students.
Once the license is activated, you’ll be able to see which students have the Awakening icon visible on their accounts. Please note that student usage data for Awakening is not yet available, but we’re working to add this feature in the future.
It’s simple! Go to your Class Report, click on Class Settings, and in the pop-up modal, you’ll see a checkbox to disable Awakening for that specific class. Just uncheck it — that’s it!
Absolutely! We understand that not all students need or want to continue their daily practice through play.
To turn Awakenings off for individual students, go to the Class Report, click on the student’s name, then open Student Settings in their Student Report. Simply uncheck the Awakening box and click OK.
You’ll now see that Awakening is no longer active for that student in the Class Report.
We integrated Awakening into XtraMath to give students an extra challenge and a fun way to keep practicing math after their Daily Practice — this time, through gameplay!
Students can access Awakenings once they complete their Daily Practice. At that point, they’ll have the option to either start playing or end their session.
By simply clicking “Play Awakening Now”, they’ll be redirected into the Awakenings platform without needing to log in again. The first time they play, they’ll answer a few quick questions — and then the adventure begins!
Throughout the game, students will be guided through a fun and engaging world, where they’ll team up with their Besties to battle and win by solving math problems.
