XtraMath is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides an online supplemental math program for students in grades K-8. Our online math fact fluency program helps students develop fluency with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts and build the computational memory that enables greater success in higher-level mathematics.
XtraMath is dedicated to math achievement for all learners. Our goal is to develop effective, efficient, adaptive, and intrinsically rewarding supplemental math activities. Xtramath's purpose is to provide equitable supplemental math activities that connect with all learners. We offer schools, teachers, students, and families easy, simple, and effective math programs in areas where students struggle or need more practice.
XtraMath was founded in 2007 by David Jeschke, a former Microsoft programmer and startup developer. While volunteering as a math tutor for Seattle elementary school students, he found many still counting with their fingers and recognized the need for an individualized math fact practice program; thus creating XtraMath. In 2009, XtraMath became a nonprofit organization and, through a grassroots movement, has grown to be one of the most widely used math programs in schools today.

David was a software programmer at Microsoft before founding XtraMath. David has a master's degree in computer science from The University of Texas, Austin.

Anissa is the Chief Program Officer at Teaching Lab. She has a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Planning from the University of Texas at Austin. She has extensive educational and leadership experience as a former teacher, school administrator, state-level administrator, instructional coach, executive coach, instructional designer, grant writer, national trainer, curriculum developer, subject matter expert, consultant, and executive.
Christopher is a National Sales manager for Classroom Assessments at Pearson. He has held the roles of elementary school teacher, school principal, assistant superintendent, superintendent, and chief operations officer for several schools and districts. He earned an Ed.D. degree in organizational leadership from Grand Canyon University.
David has years of experience leading technology operations in New York state government and education. He has held the roles of chief information officer, chief technology officer, and director of information technology. David is also a professor of cybersecurity. David has a Ph.D. in information science and an M.B.A. with a concentration in information technology and finance from SUNY Albany.
Nena is associate general counsel and head of global corporate compliance at Vantage Data Centers where she develops global ethics, privacy, human rights, fair labor, governance risk, and ESG policies. Previously, she held a similar role at Educational Testing Service, publisher of the GRE. Nena earned a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Neal manages a consulting firm that works with educational publishers and educational technology companies, assisting with strategic planning, product development, market entry strategies, sales and marketing plans, and content creation. Prior to that, he has 30-years' experience in consumer and educational publishing for companies such as Time Life and Prentice Hall Direct. Neal served on several boards including the Association of Educational Publishers and the Association of American Publishers. He earned an MBA from Columbia University.
Sabareesh is the Director of Finance at Analog Devices and also advises several pre-Series A startup companies, sitting on their board. His expertise includes portfolio management, business strategy development, P&L ownership, M&A, scaling up seed-stage companies, and fundraising. Sabareesh has an MBA in Finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
